Velipadinte Pusthakam Review
Super star Mohanlal starring Velipadinte Pusthakam movie is one of popular among latest Onam release. This film is getting excellent reports from all releasing centers. Benny P Nayarambalam and Lal Jose have offered some minty-fresh stories to Mollywood, every time they have collaborated. Velipadinte Pusthakam, starring Mohalal in the lead, is no different. With multiple get-ups of various actors and a different style of narration, the film spices up the story all the more.
Lal Jose has packaged the film in a conventional format, but in a competent way, with good visuals by Vishnu Sharma. One of the most positive thing of Velipadinte Pusthakam was the music, composed by Shaan Rahman. Eventhough Micheal Idikkula is not a challenging character for actors like Mohanlal, but the way it is presented, is extremely challenging. Salim Kumar has many evergreen roles in Laljose movies, but this isn’t one of them. His character Premraj has the maximum scope for humor, but in most of the scenes it fails to impress the audience. Other characters like Anoop Menon comes up with a good show, Reshma Anna has a limited role to play and Sarath Kumar (Angamali Dairies) lack the same energy which was his biggest positive in his previous performances. He is just okay with his character Franklin.
Even Though Velipadinte Pusthakam does not satisfy all audiences, but it definitively an ample entertainment for those in the mood for a festival season.
