Velipadinte Pusthakam Kerala BO: Cochin Multiplex

Velipadinte Pusthakam, the Most Awaited Film of Mohanlal – Laljose combo Released worldwide this Thursday. The movie that has opened to mixed opinion from the audience, who were expecting a magical movie experience from this combo. Even though the movie hasn’t made a good openion, it has definitely done an impressive business at box office. According to the reports, Mohanlal starrer Velipadinte Pusthakam collected Rs 13.89 Lakhs at Cochin Multiplex with an average occupancy of about 81% on its first day. Reportedly, the film had 55 shows at the Kochi multiplexes, on its first day. Interestingly, the movie is now the third highest opening day grosser at Cochin multiplexes after Jomonte Suvisheshangal and Ezra.

Actress Reshma Rajan is the female lead beside Mohanlal in this film. Reshma will be seen playing the role of a young assistant professor in the campus movie. Arun Kurian, Sarath Kumar, Salim Kumar and Alancier will also be seen in pivotal roles. Mohanlal’s character, who plays a Vice Principle named Professor Michael Idikkula in this movie.
