Ramesh Pisharody to turn director

Malayalam’s own standup comedian Ramesh Pisharody is all set to turn director. According to the latest reports, Ramesh Pisharody would soon don the director’s hat. Nothing much has been revealed about the star cast of the movie. Rumors were rife that Jayaram might be roped in to play the lead role in Pisharody’s directorial debut, but no official confirmation has been made regarding the same. When asked about the details, he says, “We are planning to announce the details in 10 days. Right now, all I can say is that the film will go on floors by the end of this year.”

Ramesh Pisharody, who made his entry into entertainment business through TV shows, has acted in many movies, including Kappal Muthalaali, Ramante Eden Thottam and Achayans. With his debut directorial, the actor will be joining the comedian-turned-directors’ members in the industry that includes Siddique, Lal and Nadirshah.
