Ponniyin Selvan: 1 overtakes Brahmastra, Vikram to become the third-highest-grossing Indian movie of 2022

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selven: 1 has overtaken Brahmastra Part One-shiva and Vikram to become the third highest grossing Indian film of 2022.THe film had strong earnings overseas, has collected 450 crores worldwide, jumping the marks set by both Brahmastra and Vikram so far.. As per trade sources, the film has earned 455 crore gross worldwide, which includes an impressive haul of 161 crores from overseas alone. In comparison, Ayan Mukerji’s  Brahmastra has earned 431 crore globally and Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram has grossed 443 crore.
