Parvathy Nair to play Anusree’s role in Maheshinte Prathikaram Tamil remake

As you know, Priyadarshan is directing the Tamil remake of Malayalam movie Maheshinte Prathikaram. Actor/producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and Namitha Pramod are confirmed to play the lead roles. As per the latest reports, the character of Soumya played by Anusree in the original film will be reprise by Parvathy Nair. An official confirmation from the team is awaited though. Parvathy Nair, who made a stunning debut in director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal, went on to be part of several films in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada and this Priyadarshan directorial is expected to provide a big break in her career.

Samuthirakani is essaying the villain’s role in the Tamil version. The film will be primarily shot in Kambam and Theni. The first schedule of the movie will begin on July 15.
