Mammootty-Shyam Dhar movie eyeing an Onam release ?

Mammootty, the megastar of M’town is joining hands with Shyam Dhar, the 7th Day fame director, for a family entertainer. The team recently wrapped the shoot of the movie. Now, the latest news we hear is that, the team is planning to release the untitled project as Mammootty’s Onam release. Although there is no official confirmation regarding the movie release.

This yet to be titled movie is made as a complete family entertainer. Interestingly, Mammootty is playing the role of K Rajakumaran, a teacher training instructor in the movie. Even though Mammootty has played several ‘Raja’ characters in his career, Rajakumaran is said to be a different role.

The untitled project, which is scripted by newcomer Ratheesh Ravi will feature Asha Sharath and Neena fame Deepti Sati as the female leads. Dileesh Pothan, Hareesh Kanaran, Sohan Seenulal, etc. essay the supporting roles. The movie is produced by B Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinema.
