Mammootty Picks a crime thriller as his next film

If the rumors turn out to be true popular cinematographer shamdat is turning to be a director through Mammootty movie. The movie is all set to floors next week.The movie is said to be a crime thriller and Mammootty will be seen as an investigating police officer.

Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan fame Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Lijo Mol also playing a pivotal role in this movie.The source also tells that the movie doesn’t have a heroine as such, as it is a tale of many characters.

Shamdat is a popular cinematographer and had cranked the camera for movies like Venicile Vyapari, Pramani, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu, Kattappanayile Hrithk Roshen etc. and he had also done the cinematography of Kamala Hasan’s Vishwaroopam.

Mammootty is currently busy with 7th day fame director Syam Dhar’s film and he is playing a staff in the teacher’s training college.Mammootty’s next release is ‘The Great Father’ and schedule to hit theatres on March 30.
