Mammootty-debutant Sharrath Sandith movie starts rolling !!!

In keeping with his trend of encouraging new directors, Mammootty will once again be seen in a debutant director’s film. Ad filmmaker-turned-director Sharrath Sandith is the lucky director who has got the dates of the megastar.

This yet to be titled movie movie starts rolling from today in Bangalore. The switch on ceremony with the crew members was also held today. Reportedly, the Mammootty-Sharrath Sandith movie is based on some true events and has a very strong plot. The duo had previously teamed up for a slew of advertisements, directed by Sharrath over the last one decade.

The project will have two female leads. Mia Geroge has been roped into essay one of the roles, while the team is yet to finalize the second leading lady. The rest of the star cast and further details will be revealed soon. A major portion of the movie will be shot inside a jail and it’s premises. The team is planning to complete the shoot in two schedules, 25 days in Bangalore and the rest in Kerala.

Meanwhile, Mammootty’s upcoming releases include Streetlight, Masterpiece and Syamdhar’s yet to be titled film. The superstar also has Tamil director Ram’s Peranbu gearing for release.
