Happy Birthday Laletta

Today Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s 62th birthday.

Mohanlal was born at Elanthoor village in Pathanamthitta on 21 May 1960.  His debut film ‘Thiranottam’ in 1978, that made by himself and his friends.

In 1980 his first notable character ‘Narendran’ (villain) in the movie of ‘Manjil Virinja Pookal’ that was directed by Fazil was a huge hit.

Now he is a super star in film industry and his films made the box office records (5cr, 10 cr, 20 cr, 25 cr, 50cr, 100cr). He bagged 4 national awards (2 for best actor, 1 for producer of best film, 1 for special jury) and 9 State awards.

He have many Honorable awards like Padmasree(2001), IMA Award(2003),  Honorary Lieutenant Colonel (2009), Honorary Doctor of Letters (2010) etc.
