Bhadran teams up with Mohanlal after a decade !!!

The director-actor combination of Bhadran and Mohanlal has created some cult classics like Uncle Bun, Sphadikam and Olympiyan Anthony Adam. Now, if reports are to be believed, the actor and director is would join hands for an upcoming movie. As per reports, Mohanlal has already given the dates for the movie and they are planning to start shooting by the end of this year or early next year. Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol producer Sophia Paul’s Weekend Blockbusters is in talks for production.

The last film Bhadran directed was Udayon (2005), which starred Mohanlal. Sphadikam, their most popular film to date, is considered a classic in Malayalam cinema. Mohanlal’s character, the village rowdy Thomas Chacko aka Aadu Thoma, is still one of the most celebrated characters on screen. If the reports turn out to be true and Mohanlal joins hands with Bhadran, then we can expect a high voltage mass entertainer from the combo.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is currently working on Lal Jose’s Velipadinte Pusthakam. His upcoming release is crime thriller Villain, directed by B Unnikrishnan. The movie is slated to hit screens in August this year.
