Aashirwad cinemas to release VIP 2 in Kerala

The hugely anticipated movie VIP 2 starring Dhanush, Kajol and Amala Paul directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth is set to release on Aug 11. Aashirwad Cinemas has got the distribution rights to release the movie in Kerala through Maxlab. Dhanush, director Soundarya Rajinikanth and Amala Paul were in Oberon Mall, Kochi last day for the movie’s promotions. During the event it was announced that Aashirwad Cinemas will be releasing the movie in over 200 screens all over Kerala. The first part of VIP was a massive success in Kerala, so a good opening is guaranteed in the Kerala box office.

They’ve earlier released Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali and now after a gap of more than a year, they will be releasing this Dhanush starrer. Dhanush himself has written the story and dialogues for VIP 2. Sean Rolden has replaced Anirudh to handle the music department. Samuthirakani, Vivek, Cell Murugan and Hrishikesh are also part of the cast. The movie is bankrolled by Kalaippuli S Thanu’s V Creations.
