Velipadinte Pusthakam is an upcoming movie directed by Lal Jose, starring Mohanlal in the lead role. The movie marks the first collaboration between director Lal Jose and Mohanlal. Velipadinte Pusthakam Touted to be a comical entertainer, while Mohanlal is playing the character of vice principal Mathew Idicula in the movie. The movie will showcase the relationship between teachers and students. Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas is producing this movie. Angamaly Diaries fame Reshma Rajan essays the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie.

Anoop Menon, Priyanka Nair, Salim Kumar, Angamaly Diaries fame Appani Ravi, Kalabhavan Shajon, Siddique, Alencier Ley Lopez, Aanandam fame Arun and many others are also part of the cast.

Velipadinte Pusthakam is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, Vishnu Sharma is handling the camera. Shaan Rahman is composing the music.
