When compared to previous year Megastar has less number of released movies yet like Puthiyaniyam, Kasaba,and White. The movies that released in this year had very good response from the people. C.I.Rajan Zakaria rule the mollywood with beautiful reviews and the movie White is the recently released movie of Mammookka and it is a romantic movie this movie didn’t get an expected response from the people but still the movie had some small response here and there from mammookka’s fans. Now Mollywood waiting to hear about the onam release movies of Mammootty. Like previous year Mammootty will play prominent roles in a handful of movies in 2016. Thoppil Joppan, Style Ka Baap, My Dad David, Randamuzham etc and thease are the movies that ready to come on screens to give a visual treat to the All kerala  Mammookka fans

Mammootty won the Film Fare Award 2016 for Best Actor for his perfomance in pathemaari. Mammootty’s “Pathemari” has been selected as the best movie of the year after competing with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s “Ennu Ninte Moideen,” “Anarkali,” Dulquer Salmaan’s “Charlie” and Nivin Pauly’s “Premam.
