Chalakkudikkaran Changathi is Vinayan’s finest film and a heart felt tribute to the artist who was late actor Kalabhavan Mani, Chalakkudikkaran.

Chalakudikkaran Changathi is loosely based on the life of the late actor Kalabhavan Mani. The film is about the rise and fall of Rajamani, an autorickshaw driver from Chalakudy who made it big in Malayalam and Tamil cinema before he fell prey to his vices.

The life of a talented boy from a lower caste who makes it big in the film industry and how he slowly loses grip of it. It will shed light on how our society still treat the dark-skinned people.
